Lamar's wife, Nilka, embodied the true spirit of living life to the fullest, even in the face of overwhelming adversity. When diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, Nilka refused to be defined by her diagnosis. Instead of succumbing to fear or despair, she chose to live each moment with purpose, joy, and faith. Her unwavering strength, positive outlook, and determination to cherish every breath were an inspiration to everyone around her.
